The 65-minute Hole in One Pilates DVD is designed for golfers new to Pilates. You'll learn the exercises that are the basic foundation of the Pilates method. However, for Pilates practicioners there are new exercises and stretches that were developed in the Pilates method specific to the biomechanics of the golf game.

 

In most cases, the exercise is demonstrated by a female Pilates instructor, along side a male golfer. The golfer demonstrates modifications men may need, as well as ways to work up to the final exercise.

 

The program includes:

  • Injury Prevention Warm-up which can be done every day.
  • Exercises to hit the ball farther.
  • Exercises to hit the ball straighter.
  • On the course routine which incorporates the golf cart and club.

 

Pilates is a technique — not a bunch of exercises — that will:

  • Build strength and flexibility simultaneously
    • Greater flexiblity results in faster club head speed which is the key to longer drives
  • Improve posture, especially the forward curved posture from computer work.
    • Much greater rotation is achieved starting with an address position of good posture
  • Build core
    • EVERY Pilates exercise originates in the core, building a solid foundation.
    • Core strength allows the golfer to hit the ball using more force.
    • Core strength stabilizes the pelvis and hips for straighter drives.
    • Core strength is key to back pain, since the big abdominal muscles take over work that cannot be easily done by the smaller back muscles

Unopened DVDs which are returned to Pilates for Golf (or Teplitz Enterprises, Inc.) in re-sellable condition are refundable for $23.49. Opened DVDs which are returned to us in playable condition will be refunded at 50% ($11.75). Customer covers shipping both ways.
